We’ll start our journey by heading out of the hustle and bustle of the city and make our way towards the tranquility of the Scottish Highlands.
Our first stop is at the Hermitage, a breathtaking spot with waterfalls within a magnificent forest. Take a short walk along the trail and admire the natural beauty of this hidden gem!
We’ll then stop at Dalwhinnie Distillery. This is an opportunity for you to try a dram or two if you wish! When in Scotland…
Next up, we’re searching for the legendary Loch Ness Monster! You’ll embark on a cruise across Loch Ness after enjoying some lunch. You’ll learn of its history, see some unbelievable views and of course, the tales of the Loch Ness Monster!
Finally, we make our way to Fort William, the outdoor adventure capital of Scotland, where you’ll settle in for the evening. Sat at the foot of Ben Nevis, the UK’s highest mountain, this vibrant Highland town is the perfect base for the next leg of your journey. Enjoy a relaxing evening, explore the town’s cozy pubs, or simply take in the stunning surroundings before another day of adventure ahead.

Leaving Fort William, we set off on an another unforgettable day.
Our first stop is one of Scotland’s most famous locations - the Glenfinnan Viaduct! Otherwise known as the Harry Potter Bridge. This impressive viaduct featured in the Harry Potter movies and quickly became famous, making it a must-see for all Harry Potter fans. The viaduct is surrounded by some of the most unbelievable scenery, you won’t want to leave!
Our next stop is the breathtaking location of Glencoe. This legendary glen, shaped by ancient glaciers and steeped in both beauty and tragedy, is famous for its towering mountains, deep glens, and the haunting history of the Massacre of Glencoe. Whether you recognize it from films like Skyfall or simply soak in its magnificent views, Glencoe is sure to leave a lasting impression.
From here, we continue into the Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park. We’ll make a short stop at Kilmahog, where you might have the chance to meet Scotland’s most beloved residents - Highland cows! These shaggy-haired icons of the Highlands are always a favourite for photos.
Our last stop of the day is Stirling Castle, one of Scotland’s most historically significant landmarks. Perched high on a volcanic rock, this fortress has witnessed dramatic battles and the rise of legendary figures such as Mary, Queen of Scots and William Wallace. You’ll have time to explore its grand halls, ancient walls, and spectacular views over the surrounding countryside.
We’ll then journey back to Edinburgh, ending an incredible 2 day tour that will have given you memories to last forever!

Fort William has a selection of accommodation, ranging from Youth Hostels, Bed and Breakfasts to 3 and 4 Star hotels.
We have 2 options for booking Accommodation for your 2 Day Tour
1. We can book it for you on your behalf. We have a supply of accommodation pre-booked with some trusted accommodation partners. We have a selection of Twin, Double, Single and Family Rooms available.
2. You can choose to book your own accommodation. Before doing this, please get in touch and ask what where we will be staying for your chosen dates so that you can book accommodation in an appropriate location.
Accommodation will need to be booked within 3km of our chosen accommodation location as we may not be able to collect and drop off from further away than this.

If you are a solo traveller and you choose for us to book your accommodation on your behalf, then we will first choose to put you in a single room. Is the 2 Loch Ness Tour for me?
Before booking on to our 2 Day Loch Ness Tour from Edinburgh, please remember that this is an Active Sightseeing tour and might not be for everyone. We will be going for some short walks in the Highlands and the terrain can vary and the ground can be uneven and slippery. Before booking, please ask yourself, Can I and everyone in my group comfortably walk for 45 minutes on uneven ground?
What should I bring on the 2 Day Loch Ness Tour from Edinburgh?
As the weather can be unpredictable at times in Scotland, for your day tour we recommend you bring light waterproof clothing and sturdy hiking boots or shoes. You may also want to bring midge repellent as during certain times of year (primarily April - September) the midges may irritate you. If you’re lucky enough to get a nice sunny day, then some sun cream would be great. If it’s during the colder months, then some warm clothing, gloves and a hat may also be useful.
When should I arrive for the 2 Day Loch Ness Tour?
We ask all clients to arrive and check-in at least 15 minutes early for your 2 Day Loch Ness Group Tour, this ensures a prompt departure and more time to experience the Highlands of Scotland. Is there Parking near the Edinburgh Departure location?
There is no parking near the start location of your Loch Ness and Highlands of Scotland 2 Day Tour from Edinburgh
We recommend not bringing a car as it can be difficult to get parking in Edinburgh. There are private parking facilities in Edinburgh that fill up quickly and there is some on street parking, all have a charge. Best way to get around Edinburgh is on foot or public transport
How long will I be out of the vehicle on this my 2 Day Loch Ness Tour ?
On your 2 Day Loch Ness Tour, you’ll get a good amount of time out of the vehicle as you go for short hikes in the Highlands of Scotland, cruise on Loch Ness and visit the historic Stirling Castle.
Do you have any age restrictions?
For our scheduled, 2 Day Loch Ness Tour, we have a minimum age limit of 12 years old. If you have children under 12 who you’d like to take on the 2 Day Loch Ness Tour, we recommend getting in touch info@scotlandswild.com
Should I bring food on my 2 Day Loch Ness Tour ?
There will be no need to bring food on your 2 Day Loch Ness Tour as you’ll be stopping at different locations in the Highlands of Scotland to enjoy meals and be able to pick up snacks.
Feel free to bring snacks for when you’re travelling around the Highlands of Scotland.Are meals included for my 2 Day Loch Ness Group Tour ?
Meals aren’t included on your 2 Day Loch Ness Group Tour. You’ll be able to enjoy meals at your own time and where you enjoy. Your Scotland Tour Guide will happily help send you in the right direction. There may be a need to book meals in Advance
Can I take luggage with me during my 2 Day Loch Ness Group Tour?
As yo travel Scotland on your 2 Day Loch Ness Group Tour, there will be space for each Traveler to bring a suitcase style of luggage of 20kg (44lbs) with dimensions of approx 81cm x 119cm x 119cm. You will also be able to take a small handbag sized bag for you personal items for when you travel Scotland. Will there be plenty of bathroom breaks?
During your 2 Day Loch Ness Group Tour, there will be many stops to use the restrooms in the Highlands of Scotland. There are also restrooms on your Loch Ness Cruise and at Stirling Castle. You will never be far away from a bathroom stop
Should I tip my Scotland Tour Guide/Driver?
If you believe your Scotland Tour Guide/Driver provided you with a great touring experience on your 2 Day Loch Ness Tour, then I know they will always appreciate a wee bonus, though it is completely up to you on how much you tip or if you’d like to provide one.
What’s your Multi-Day Tour Cancellation Policy?
Any cancellation for our 2 Day Loch Ness Group Tour, 16 or more days before the tour start day, you will be issued a 90% Refund. Cancelling 15 days or less, you must pay 100% of your total booking price. In the event of not showing up for your multi-day group tour, you will be charged 100% of the cost

Do I have Travel Insurance Provided on my 2 Day Loch Ness Tour?
We don’t provide travel insurance for any Tours in Scotland, though we highly recommend taking out appropriate travel insurance for any vacation to Scotland.
