As the weather can be unpredictable at time in Scotland, for your day tour we recommend you bring light waterproof clothing and sturdy hiking boots or shoes. You may also want to bring midge repellent as during certain times of year (primarily April - September) the midges may irritate you. If you’re lucky enough to get a nice sunny day, then some sun cream would be great. If it’s during the colder months, then some warm clothing, gloves and a hat may also be useful.

Is there Parking near the Edinburgh Departure location?
There is no parking near the start location of your Loch Ness and Highlands of Scotland Group Day Tour from Edinburgh
We recommend not bringing a car as it can be difficult to get parking in Edinburgh. There are private parking facilities in Edinburgh that fill up quickly and there is some on street parking, all have a charge. Best way to get around Edinburgh is on foot or public transport
Why are the Scotch Distillery Tour and Stirling Castle Visit, entry fees not included in the day tour price?
We don’t include the price of entry for Distilleries as it allows you the flexibility to travel as you enjoy. At some distilleries there’s the option which tours to enjoy and the quantity of whisky provided depending on what you’re comfortable paying. We’ve found that clients enjoy different quantities of whisky and different tour options.
How long will I be out the vehicle?
On your Stirling Castle, Kelpies, Loch Lomond National Park & Highland Scotch Whisky Distillery Group Day Tour we get you out of the vehicle as much as we can to enjoy some hiking in the Highlands of Scotland, Tour a Highland Scotch Whiskey Distillery, visit Stirling Castle Castle and see the mythical Kelpies. You’ll also be out of the vehicle as you explore the landscape, have lunch and take photos of the scenic Highlands of Scotland
Do you have any age restrictions?
For our Stirling Castle, Kelpies, Loch Lomond National Park & Highland Scotch Whisky Distillery Group Day, we have a minimum age limit of 18 years old.
If you are travelling with anyone under 18 years old who you’d like to take join you for this tour, we recommend getting in touch info@scotlandswild.com and asking about a fully private tour for you and your group.
Should I bring Lunch?

What’s your Day Tour Cancellation Policy?
Any cancellation for our Stirling Castle, Kelpies, Loch Lomond National Park & Highland Scotch Whisky Distillery Group Day, 8 or more days before the tour start day, you will be issued a full refund
Cancelling between 4 and 7 days before the tour start date you will be issued a 50% refund and cancelling within 3 days of the tour, full payment is taken.
