We have 2 options for booking Accommodation for your Orkney Islands Tour
1. We can book it for you on your behalf. We have a supply of accommodation pre-booked with some trusted accommodation partners. We have a selection of Twin, Double, Single and Family Rooms available.
2. You can choose to book your own accommodation. Before doing this, please get in touch and ask what part of the Island we will be staying for your chosen dates so that you can book appropriate accommodation in an appropriate location. Accommodation will need to be booked within 3km of our chosen accommodation location as we may not be able to collect and drop off from further away than this.

Meals are not included in your 5-day Orkney Islands Tour from Edinburgh, giving you the flexibility to dine at your own pace. Your Scotland Tour Guide will be happy to suggest great local spots for meals. In some cases, reservations may be necessary in advance.
Can I Bring Luggage on the Orkney Islands Tour?
Each traveller is allowed:
One suitcase (up to 20kg / 44lbs) with dimensions of approximately 81cm x 119cm x 119cm.
One small handbag or personal item for essential travel items.

Will There Be Enough Bathroom Breaks?
Yes! Throughout the Orkney Islands Tour, you’ll have frequent restroom stops across the Scottish Highlands and Orkney Islands. There are also facilities available on the Loch Ness Cruise and during the ferry crossing to Orkney.
Should I Tip My Scotland Tour Guide/Driver?
If you feel your Scotland Tour Guide/Driver provided an excellent experience on your Orkney Islands Tour, gratuities are always appreciated. However, tipping is entirely at your discretion.

16+ days before departure: You will receive a 90% refund.
15 days or fewer before departure: You must pay 100% of the booking price.
No-shows: You will be charged 100% of the total tour cost.

If you arrive late for your tour, our cancellation policy still applies. If you believe you will be delayed, please contact us as soon as possible at +44 131 241 8292. We will try to accommodate you on another tour if there is availability, but this cannot be guaranteed.

We do not provide travel insurance for our Orkney Islands Tours, but we highly recommend securing appropriate coverage for any trip to Scotland.
